#gaeltears 2: Iona Boogaloo? Liveblog!
Denver is hosting Iona tonight in a clash of early-season mid-major success stories that’s garnering more national attention — at least from my college basketball-mad tweeps — than any DU game since I started following the Pioneers. It’s exciting!
I’ll be there, probably, starting around halftime; I have to put the girls to bed first, and then I’m planning to drive down to Magness Arena, hopefully leaving home around tipoff (7:00 PM Mountain Time) and listening to Mitch Hyder’s first-half call on Mile High Sports Radio before taking my seat on press row. Ah, the life of a “fake journalist”! :)
Anyway, below is my liveblog of the game. It will include all of my tweets (which will be limited for the first half, as explained above), plus tweets mentioning me, plus tweets from the official Denver and Iona feeds, plus tweets mentioning them, plus a handful of other tweeters and hashtags and whatnot related to the game. So basically, the liveblog should have pretty frequent updates on the game, hopefully without too much “noise.”
