Back on December 7, when Iona beat Denver in an overtime thriller, I was intensely frustrated when a video I’d taken of the Gaels’ game-winner and Chase Hallam’s Gordon Hayward-like attempted buzzer-beater that rimmed out — which I thought was going to be a pretty compelling movie — mysteriously never showed up in my iPhone’s Photo Library. I couldn’t figure it out; the clip had just vanished.

Well, turns out it didn’t actually vanish. Using Ecamm’s PhoneView to dig through the guts of my phone, trying to solve the mystery of several gigabytes of space taken up by unidentified “Other” files, I discovered a handful of videos that had gotten lost in the filesystem, sort of “orphaned” by the phone. The Denver-Iona video is one of them. So now, almost two months late, I can finally post it here. And I was right: it’s a pretty darn good video of the ending of that great game.

Here’s hoping for no similar late-game drama tomorrow against Arkansas State. An easy, stress-free win would do just fine.
